"Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved,
clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience."
Now, that seems easy enough to apply; yet it is not. E.g.
When a neighbour uses your land as if it is her own
When the boyfriend of your mid-teen daughter molests her against her will
When a teacher at school maligns your son and accuses him of cheating
When your boss overlooks you for that promotion and offers it to a younger colleague
When your Church Leader uses power and control to get what he wants, and will not listen to you ......or anyone actually.
These are your opportunities to practice - compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. It's "being Christ".
